The system uses four cameras positioned around the vehicle to provide front, rear, left and right coverage . When connected to a compatible Android car multimedia player and correctly calibrated, the camera feeds can be processed into a 360° panoramic or bird's-eye-style view to assist with parking, reversing and low-speed manoeuvring.
Important: This is a camera kit designed for compatible Android screens. The Android car stereo/screen is not included unless specifically stated in the selected package. Your head unit must have dedicated 360° camera support; a standard reverse-camera input alone is not sufficient.

360° Panoramic Surround View
The Philips 360° camera system combines images from multiple cameras positioned around the vehicle. With a compatible Android head unit capable of 360° processing, these individual views can be combined to create a panoramic view around the vehicle.
The wider field of view can be particularly useful when parking, reversing, manoeuvring through narrow spaces, or positioning the vehicle close to other vehicles and obstacles .

This camera system should be used with an Android car stereo or multimedia player that specifically supports 360° camera processing .
A head unit having a camera input does not automatically mean that it can process a four-camera 360° system. The Android screen must support the required camera connections, 360° processing, image stitching and calibration functions.
Before ordering, check your stereo specifications for terms such as 360° Camera, 360 Panorama, Surround View, 360° View or Bird's-Eye View .
Enhanced Parking Visibility
A conventional reverse camera primarily provides a view behind the vehicle. A 360° camera system uses multiple camera positions to provide a much broader view around the vehicle.
This can make it easier to judge the vehicle's position relative to parking lines, nearby vehicles, walls and other obstacles during low-speed manoeuvring.
Note: A camera system is a driver-assistance feature and should not replace direct observation or normal driving precautions.
Professional Installation & Calibration
Correct installation is important for a 360° camera system. The four cameras need to be positioned consistently around the vehicle and connected correctly to the compatible Android head unit.
After installation, the system requires appropriate calibration so the individual camera images can be correctly processed into the surround-view display.
